Two Madagascar nationals arrested for overstaying visa

Two Madagascar nationals including a child were taken into police custody yesterday from a hotel in Mount Lavinia after they were found to have overstayed their visas, violating immigration laws, Police said.

The foreigners aged 29 and 10 years were found residing in a hotel in Seram road in Mount Lavinia following a tip-off received by Police.

They are to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate today.
