Traffic on Hatton-N’Eliya Road restricted to one lane over landslide risk

Colombo, June 3 (Daily Mirror) - Vehicular movements on the Hatton-Nuwara Eliya main road has been restricted to a single lane from this morning onwards, owing to a landslide risk. 

A section of the road stretching up to 300 metres in the Nanu Oya area has been restricted to vehicular traffic as a roadside soil mound has collapsed last night due to the heavy rains. 

Nanu Oya Police request the public to use the road cautiously during the next few days.
