The manager of the Yomiuri Giants, one of Japan’s most popular baseball teams, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his daughter, local media reported today.

Shinnosuke Abe allegedly grabbed his 18-year-old daughter and forced her to the floor at their home in central Tokyo, NHK and Kyodo News reported, citing unnamed police sources.
