Three anticipatory bail applications filed by EX-ETI Directors fixed for inquiry

Anticipatory Bail applications filed by three former directors of Edirisinghe Trust Investment (ETI) and Swarnamahal were today fixed for inquiry on January 27 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Mohommed Mihal.

However, the Magistrate rejected the anticipatory bail application filed by Deepa Edirisinghe, a director of the ETI finance due to a printing error.

Accordingly, the Magistrate issued notices to the OIC of the Criminal Investigation Department who was named as the respondent of the anticipatory bail applications to appear before the Court on the next date.  (Yoshitha Perera)
