Thomians make early breakthroughs, Royal 14/2

S. Thomas' College took the early initiative in the 144th Battle of the Blues, dismissing both Royal College openers with just 12 runs on the board. 

Akash Fernando had Rehan Pieris caught behind down the leg side in the opening over of the game, before Nathan Caldera, broke through the defenses of Sineh Jayawardena, who is part of Sri Lanka's Under 19 team, three overs later.
