Tense situation in front of JVP head office

Colombo, August 11 (Daily Mirror) - A tense situation has erupted in front of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna headquaters in Pelawatte due to a protest by a group of unemployed graduates.

The situation escalated when the protesters insisted on entering the JVP head office for discussions, leading to heated arguments with police officers.

Police prevented the group from proceeding inside without official permission.

The protest was organized by the Unemployed Graduates' Union demanding solutions to their issues.
