Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Bridge opened for traffic

The Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Bridge in Thotalanga that was blocked due to a protest by the residents has been opened for traffic after clearing protesters off the road, police said.

The protesters were seen on the bridge although they allowed the vehicular movement along the bridge.
