Six arrested with heroin worth Rs. 30 Mn

Five Sri Lankans and an Indian were arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy with 2.24 Kg of heroin, valued at Rs. 30 million, in Mannar yesterday evening.  

The stock of heroin is believed to be smuggled from Pallimunai, India. The Vavuniya Police Narcotics Bureau is investigating the incident.
