Sigiriya not open for night visits, Ministry clarifies

Colombo, Jan 15 (Daily Mirror) - The Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs today denied reports circulating on social media that the Sigiriya Rock Fortress will be open for night visits.

In response to social media claims that the fortress has been illuminated with lights for night-time tourism, the Ministry clarified that no such decision had been made. 

They assured the public that Sigiriya will not be open for night visits at this time.
