SLPP wins Ambalangoda PS

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) secured 6,698 votes along with 10 seats of the Ambalangoda Pradeshiya Sabha, the election results released by the Elections Commission said.

The United National Party (UNP) obtained 4,260 votes along with six seats.

The United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) and the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) won two seats each.
