Restriction of KDU Medical faculty for local students a temporary move: Deputy Minister

Colombo, June 3 (Daily Mirror) - The restriction imposed on local students entering the medical faculty of the Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) is a temporary move, Deputy Minister of Education Madura Seneviratne told Parliament today. 

"The restriction of local students to the KDU Medical faculty has been halted only till the government reviews the country's need for medical practitioners," the Deputy Minister said in response to a question raised by MP Ravi Karunanayake.
