Private fuel bowser owners want police security to transport fuel

The Ceylon Petroleum Private Tanker Owners’ Association today requested the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to provide security when transporting fuel.

Citing the several obstructions made by certain groups in the past few days, Joint Secretary of the Association D.V. Shantha Silva told the IGP that they could not report for duty if they are not provided with security during fuel transportation.
