Prison authorities to take Duminda Silva into custody tonight

Housing Development Authority Chairman Duminda Silva who was taken into CID custody following the Supreme Court order will be handed over to the prison custody tonight, sources said.

Duminda Silva was arrested by the CID this evening at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital.

Sources said the prison authorities will take Duminda Silva into their custody to be taken to the prison.

However, Silva is still at the Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital presently.
