Prez assures immediate action to avert power crisis: PUCSL says

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has assured the the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) and the general public that all possible measures will be taken immediately to avert the power crisis prevailing in the country, PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.

As a measure to mitigate this situation, the Treasury and Central Bank will ensure to facilitate import fuel for power generation with immediate effect, he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
