President summons Attorney General, CID officers: Minister

Colombo, Feb 06 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has called for a meeting with the Attorney General and CID officers to discuss the ongoing investigations into the murder of journalist Lasantha Wickramatunge. 

Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe informed Parliament that the government will not interfere with law enforcement authorities in releasing any individuals involved in the murders.
