President leaves for Dubai

President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the country early this morning to participate in the climate change conference being held in Egypt, the airport duty manager said.

The Convention on Climate Change is scheduled to be held from November 7 to18 at the International Convention Centre in Sharm Al Sheikh, Egypt.

A delegation has also accompanied the President to participate in this conference.

The delegation left for Dubai at 2.50 am in the morning on Emirates Airlines.

From there, they will fly to Egypt. (T.K.G Kapila)
