Colombo, May 28 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in his Eid al-Adha message issued today, called on citizens to embrace the values of peace, brotherhood and sacrifice while highlighting the importance of unity and compassion in a world affected by conflict and division.

Marking the observance of Eid al-Adha on May 28, the President said the sacred Islamic festival symbolises the unwavering faith and immense sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim in devotion to Almighty Allah.
