Police Officer’s house targeted in shooting in Beliatta

Colombo, July 23 (Daily Mirror) - A house belonging to a police officer in the Walawala area of Beliatta came under gunfire, police said.

The officer, who is attached to the Dickwella Police, was not reported injured in the incident.

Police said that around five shots were fired at the gate of the house. No casualties have been reported.

An investigation has been launched to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the shooting.
