Piyumi Hansamali’s son arrested over assault in Rajagiriya

Colombo, July 13 (Daily Mirror) - The Welikada Police have arrested the son of popular model Piyumi Hansamali over an assault incident reported in the Kalapaluwawa area of Rajagiriya.

Police said the arrest was made following an alleged assault carried out by a group, including Hansamali’s son, following a motor accident.

The victim of the assault has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before court.
