Permission granted to use calculators for tomorrow’s Accounting subject

Permission had been granted for the candidates sitting for the Accounting subject at the GCE Advanced Level examination tomorrow to use non-programmable calculators for the first time in local examination history, Commissioner-General of Examination Sanath B. Pujitha said.

If there is any problem with granting permissions to use calculators, the Commissioner-General requested to contact the Department for more information.

“However, it will be prohibited to bring electronic communicable equipment such as Wristwatches, mobile phones and other electronic related items, the Commissioner-General added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
