Over seven hour power cut tomorrow as well

A seven and-a-half an hour countrywide power cut will be imposed tomorrow as well, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.

Accordingly, five-hour power cut between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm, and two-and-a-half an hour power cut from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the evening.

The powercut schedule had to be continued due to the absence of enough fuel such as diesel, naphtha, and furnace oil to run the generators. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
