Over 50 lives saved by bus driver

The lives of over 50 passengers were saved today due to the bravery of a driver who prevented a bus from falling into a precipice, following a brake failure in Beragala.

The driver of the bus who had realized the bus suffered from a brake failure had promptly driven the vehicle into a mound of earth preventing a major tragedy, police said.
