Opposition challenge Brandix to reveal list of names & quarantined places

The Opposition yesterday challenged Brandix Ltd. to reveal the list of its employees who were said to have returned from India on September 22 and the places where they underwent quarantine process.

Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella told Parliament that Brandix as a reputed apparel industry should submit the list of employees and the places where they underwent quarantine process in Parliament through a government MP.

“I challenge the factory to submit the details in Parliament if it was telling the truth,” he said. (Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)
