On whose side is Director General of Health? Mujibur questions health authorities

Former MP Mujibur Rahuman alleged that the Director General of Health Services is aiding the cover-up of a health crisis. 

The MP was commenting on the recent controversy surrounding medicinal drugs imported to Sri Lanka.

“The Health Minister is appointing committees to cover-up the crisis. Following an investigation, the Director General of Health Services has assured that one of the controversial drugs is safe for use. But the same drug has caused more complications among patients,” Rahuman said.

“Whose side is the Director General taking? The side of the public or the corrupt politicians and multinationals?” he questioned.
