Colombo, June 2 (Daily Mirror) - Anudi Gunasekara, who represented Sri Lanka at the 72nd Miss World Festival Grand Final, said she was not expecting to take part in any other pageants.

Gunasekara, who returned to the country yesterday, told reporters that her lifetime desire was to take part in the Miss World Festival and that she has achieved that feat.

"I do not intend to take part in any other pageants. My lifetime desire was to represent Miss world pageant. I achieved that feat. So, I do not think I need to take part in any other pageants. I represented my country," she said.

When asked if it was a challenge for her, Gunasekara said it was a pleasant challenge and that though it was a challenge, she did not see it as a challenge.

"It was a pleasant challenge. I was able to associate with the world's most beautiful women. Though it is a challenge, I do not see it as a challenge. I see it as a pleasant chapter in my life," she said.
