Nisha Biswal to visit SL this week

Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal will travel to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka this week.

In a statement, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State said the Deputy Assistant Secretary for South Asia Manpreet Singh Anand will accompany her.

Biswal is to meet with senior government officials and political leaders to discuss bilateral economic cooperation as well as democratic governance and reconciliation, the statement said.
