Nick Carter returns home unexpectedly

American singer Nick Carter announced today that he has returned to the USA due to unforeseen circumstances, leading to the suspension of the remaining dates of his 'Who I Am' Asia tour. 

This includes scheduled performances in India, Sri Lanka, Korea, the Philippines, and the Middle East.

Nick Carter, a member of the vocal group Backstreet Boys, shared a selfie video on social media, expressing his regret for being unable to proceed with the tour.

"As Sri Lankan stakeholders, we deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused and assure all valued ticket holders that refunds will be processed quickly and efficiently.

"We hope to stay in touch regarding future developments and extend our support to Nick, his management and his family during this time."

However, the concert originally planned for April 23 has been officially cancelled, the organisers said.

While this is a significant disappointment for fans across the region, the organizers, partners, and promoters in Asia are actively working on rescheduling negotiations and ensuring a swift refund process, they added.
