New circular to permit number of staffers at public institutions

Ministry Secretaries and heads of departments in all government establishments have been permitted to allow only essential services with the minimum number of employees, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration J.J. Rathnasiri said.

He said a new circular to be issued tomorrow on this.

The secretary said that pregnant mothers will not be allowed to enter the premises or to work.
