New Acting Commissioner General for ID office appointed

Colombo, October 8 (Daily Mirror) - The appointment to the post of Commissioner General of Registration of Persons has been assigned on an acting basis.

The post of Commissioner General of Registration of Persons has been vacant from September 24, 2024.

Accordingly, Ms. M.S.P. Sooriyapperuma, a Special Grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, who is currently working as an Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security has been appointed as the Acting Commissioner General for the Registration of Persons.
