Namal congratulates Vijay on TN election win

Colombo, May 5 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa has congratulated actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay on his reported victory in the Tamil Nadu elections.

Namal conveyed his wishes in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, praising Vijay’s achievement and expressing optimism about future cooperation.

“Congratulations to Mr. C. Joseph Vijay on a magnificent victory! The real work begins now, and I wish you and your team the strength and determination to overcome the challenges ahead and deliver meaningful benefits to the people,” he said.

He also expressed hope for improved bilateral engagement, adding that he looks forward to a stronger and more positive relationship with Sri Lanka on matters affecting people in both countries.

Rajapaksa extended his best wishes to Vijay and his team as they prepare to take on their new responsibilities.
