Naked motorcycle rider further remanded

Colombo, March 5 (Daily Mirror) - The man who was arrested for riding a motorcycle from Colombo to Kandy while naked was further remanded till March 19 after being produced before the Kandy magistrate today.

The suspect Kariyawasam Pathirage Kaweesa Samsara Kariyawasam (23) is from Gurullawala in the Ahangama area. He had been riding on a motorcycle while fully naked last Monday (03) when he was arrested at Kaduganawa and remanded till today (05).

The magistrate ordered police to refer him to a psychiatrist through prison authorities for medical examination and produce the report in court.
