Minor tremor felt in Walapane

Minor tremor was occurred in Walapane area this morning, a senior official of the Seismic Data & Tsunami Alert Centre (SDTAC) said.

She said the tremor of magnitude 1.7 on the Richter scale was reported at around 3.29 this morning. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
