Minister wants Bollywood movie shown to MPs

Colombo, Sept. 24 (Daily Mirror) - Leader of the House Bimal Rathnayake today requested the Parliamentary Caucus on Arts and Cultural Affairs to screen the Bollywood film 'Taare Zameen Par' for the members of Parliament.

"Taare Zamen Par had great impact on me and my wife after we viewed it. It woke us up to think of children's needs. MPs who do not feel for children should watch this movie. If not, I propose that they be given copies of the DVD," the Minister said.
