Manusha arrives at CID

Samagi Jana Balawegya (SJB) Parliamentarian Manusha Nanayakkara has arrived at the CID to record a statement over an ongoing investigation, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said the CID is currently investigating into the erasing of data at the National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA).

The Sri Lanka Telecom has lodged a complaint with the CID against Manusha Nanayakkara over a statement he had made recently to the media.

Accordingly, the MP was summoned to the CID to give a statement. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
