Man arrested with two T-56 weapons

Colombo, July 31 (Daily Mirror) - A 43-year-old person was arrested with two T-56 assault riffles during a search operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force in Aralaganwila. 

The Army said the suspect, a resident of Ottamavadi was arrested, based on information provided by the Sri Lanka Army Intelligence Division.

The suspect was found in possession of two T-56 rifles, two magazines, 60 rounds of ammunition, a pair of binoculars and a sword. 

The suspect was handed over to the Terrorism Investigation Division for further investigations.
