MR proposes to gift a plot of land in Colombo to Yohani

The government is planning to gift a plot of land in Colombo to popular singer Yohani de Silva for her achievements in the global music arena, following a proposal by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Accordingly, a 9 perch plot of land belonging to the Urban Development Authority, located at Robert Gunawardena Mawatha in Battaramulla will be given to Yohani as a gift from the government.
