MP Sanath Nishantha’s vehicle crashes into cyclist

One man was hospitalized after a vehicle belonging to state minister Sanath Nishantha crashed into him while he was riding his bicycle in the Puttalam area today, police said.

MP Sanath Nishantha was present in the vehicle when the driver crashed into the cyclist severely injuring him.

Police said the cyclist was admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital.

Police said the driver of the MP will be arrested and investigations are ongoing. (DSB)
