Colombo, May 21 (Daily Mirror) - The luxury cruise liner Mein Schiff 6 has docked at the East Container Terminal (ECT) of the Colombo Port, marking its very first visit to Sri Lanka. Sailing under the flag of Malta, the vessel arrived carrying 2,380 international tourists and a dedicated crew of 951 members.
Upon arrival, the visitors were treated to traditional cultural and artistic performances arranged by the handling travel agencies.
Prior to dropping anchor in Colombo, Mein Schiff 6 made a port call at the Hambantota International Port on the 19th. During their southern stopover, the tourists explored major wildlife and cultural landmarks including Yala, Bundala, and Udawalawe National Parks, alongside the sacred town of Katharagama.
