Laxapana reservoir spill gates opened

One spill gate of the Laxapana reservoir had been open following the opening of two spill gates of the Canyon Reservoir, the Disaster Management Centre said.

The Centre has issued a warning to residents living downstream of Kelani River to be caution over rising water levels.
