Colombo, July 23 (Daily Mirror) - The Labour Department has announced that public services related to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) Database and Digital EPF system will be unavailable on July 30 and 31, 2026, due to essential maintenance work on its computer system.

Commissioner General of Labour said H.M.D.N.K. Wataliyadda said the temporary suspension will affect the Department's head office as well as all zonal, district and sub-district labour offices. Services including EPF benefit payments and registrations will not be available during the two-day period.

The Department also said that individuals who had already booked appointments for services on those dates may visit the relevant labour office on any other working day within one month to obtain the required services.
