Kotahena sexual abuse suspect is NPP organiser, Says Namal

Colombo, May 8 (Daily Mirror) - The maths teacher who is accused of sexually abusing a child in Kotahena is a NPP organiser for Colombo Central, SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa said today.

He told Parlaiment that they doubt if the government is trying to supress the investigations into the incident as he is a NPP organiser.

The MP raised doubts as to how the JMO report stated that the girl had been suffering from mental illness as a JMO report is issued after one's death. 

"I have no idea how a report on the mental condition of a dead person has been issued," he said.
