Issuing of passports to resume from Monday

The passport issuing services excluding the one day service will resume from Monday (9), Immigration and emigration department said.

While issuing a notice, the Department said the services of issuing passports were suspended from last Friday (5) due to an emergency repair of their computer system.

Accordingly, the passport issuing service under the normal service will resume on Tuesday. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
