Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026 to be held on August 9

Colombo, July 23 (Daily Mirror) - The Department of Examinations has announced that the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026, conducted to select students for schools and award scholarships, will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

The examination will be conducted at 2,723 centres islandwide.

Accordingly, Paper II will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m., while Paper I will be conducted from 11.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.

The Department stated that the attendance registers of candidates who applied for the examination have been sent to the relevant Zonal Education Offices.

Candidates who need to amend their information can do so online from July 23 to August 3, 2026, by accessing the “Exam Information Centre” under “Our Services” on the official website www.doenets.lk or through http://onlineexams.gov.lk.
