Grace period to renew firearm licence extended till May 31

The grace period granted to renew all firearm licenses through the Ministry of Defence and the District Secretariats for the year 2021 has been extended till May 31, 2021.

Earlier, the Defence Ministry said that firearm licence could be renewed until February 28.

However, the Ministry has decided to extend the grace period given to licence holders to renew all firearm licenses until May 31 without any penalty due to COVID-19 pandemic.
