Govt denies issuing VIP invitations for Sacred Tooth Relic exposition

Colombo, April 18 (Daily Mirror) - The Government Information Department clarified that reports claiming that VIP invitations were issued by the government for special guests to attend the exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Dekma) at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy are false.

The department stated that no such VIP invitations have been issued by the government for the exposition.

However, it was reported that fake VIP invitations, falsely attributed to the government, are circulating on social media platforms.
