Govt. approves to import 1.8 mn petrol barrels

In accordance with the recommendation of the cabinet appointed Standing Procurement Committee, the Cabinet has approved to import 1.8 million barrels of petrol for a period of eight months.

Accordingly, the approval was granted to import petrol barrels from February 15 to October 10, 2022.

The proposal was made by the Energy Minister to award this long term contract to M/s OQ Trading Limited in United Arab Emirates.
