He told the Daily Mirror that the vehicles were being taken to the storage terminal under numerous names of employees.
Certain employees used to pump fuel for more than 10 outside vehicles under the names of numerous employees at a higher price. Therefore, the vehicles inside the petroleum corporation had to wait for hours to refill their tanks, he said.
He said that a sum of Rs.500 to Rs.600 was charged to pump per liter of petrol from the storage terminal. Therefore, long queues have been created opposite the storage terminal. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
