Former President arrives at CID over President’s Fund probe

Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror) - Former President Maithripala Sirisena arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged misuse of the President’s Fund.

The former President was summoned to record a statement regarding the allocation of funds from the President’s Fund to several individuals, including politicians, during his tenure.
