Female lawyer arrested over obstructing police duties released

The female lawyer, who was arrested for obstructing duties of a woman police constable last evening at the Colombo High Court premises, was released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today.

Police said the lawyer had allegedly scraped the skin of the WPC when she attempted to search the lawyer at the entrance.
