Fair weather prevails, isolated showers expected in some areas

Colombo, Feruary 11 (Daily Mirror) - While fair weather prevails over most parts of the island, a few showers may occur in the Uva Province and in the Batticaloa, Ampara, Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts, the forecasting division of the National Meteorological Centre said.

However, there is a possibility of ground frost in some areas of the Nuwara Eliya district during the early morning hours.

Misty conditions can be expected in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, Badulla and Kurunegala districts during the morning.
